Major General Sanjay P Vishwasrao saw that for NCC to contribute to nation building, its officers, staff and cadets needed a new ethos. In March 2023, he launched the Amrit Kaal Ki NCC campaign at NCC Bhawan, Delhi, with a slogan, ceremony and selfie stand, to shape Amrit Kaal Cadets for Viksit Bharat 2047. The second selfie stand came up at his official residence, Cadet House, in Delhi Cantt. Gradually, every NCC Delhi location had one.
